Diamonds Are A Girls Best Friend 2: VVS Love Baby!

Okay so "Diamonds Are a Girls Best Friend" was so popular and fabulously fun we just had to bring you Divas another round with our besties Fajo Magazine and !Xam Diamonds! Not only is trying on pretty sparkly jewels the funnest thing in world for any gal to do it's the month of loving hunny so there was just a je ne sais quoi floating in the air to make the experience that much more enjoyable! 

The night started off with trying on diamonds, diamonds and more diamonds! Ladies and gents of the sort flocked around from case to case pointing, eye balls bulging, with "ouuuu's" and "aaaaah's"  - ladies in fascination of beauty gents in price (yes it does pay to splurge a little, she's worth it!) It was like watching birds of prey - high five to all the amazingly kind, well to do, and educated !Xam staff, you all rule! I've never been so well informed and in good hands while sipping bubbly! Hannah of FAJO Magazine was fashionably yours as usual with super fun tips and tricks of how to look hot this season and what dazzling jewels to pair it with - the shinier the better!

Here are a few of our fabulous Divas being fabulous with fabulous jewels (wait did I say fabulous?) 

 Now on the most important experience of this entire night - MY RING! lol Okay but really the entire !XAM staff,  my fab DivaGirl team, the caterers, oh and that girl coming out of the bathroom heard my VVS Stone story so hey I'm obviously going to dish it out with you too! I FOUND THE ONE! It's pretty, and dainty, and cute and just makes me feel like a lady! (when you grow up with dudes sometimes you need extra pretty things to make you feel extra femminine) The fab ring would be this gorge VVS Stone that fits my little  hand like a glove! Hot pic coming atcha' -

Here's the rundown. Obviously I'm not on the hunt for a pretty, shiny, engagement ring but most times you fall in love when it isn't expected, you're not looking and usually inconvenient. I'm also not one of those Divas that gets all mushy and gooey about these things I mean it's a ring how could it possibly give you this calming, and content feeling like "ooooh, I like you. You fit and I'm just so captivated." but it did!! I swear I was staring at it all night like I wanted to try it on but I was almost scared it would be too perfect, crazy huh? and plus all these big, fat, 6 Carrot whoppers were so in your face like "POW! I'm here! Try me on! Take me home, we're just perfect!" so you usually go with seemingly looks good but doesn't necessarily feel right because well it's right there! Look at this thing, it's gorge but let's get real so obnoxious looking on me -

I went in for a fun time with fab Divas, some bubbly, and star gazing at diamonds and came out in love with the closest cut to perfection for me - VVS baby! If the night wasn't coming to an end and Susan didn't pry it out of my hands I'd still have it with me! Like any normal girl feeling like she's overreacting I asked the experts! All of the fab !XAM team gave me two thumbs up with " When a girl knows, she knows!" Why thank you !XAM I couldn't have said it better myself! MWA!

All Access Diva Dish with 2013 DG Conference Presenter Nikki Bergen

Yes Divas, Creator of The Belle Method, Nikki Bergen is one of our fabulous presenters at the 2013 DivaGirl Conference.  At the age of 21, Nikki a recent McGill Business graduate had an epiphany. Rather than being confined to the 3 walls of her cubicle, Nikki decided drop what she was doing to chase her life long dream of being a dancer. Nikki quickly realized this was one of the best decisions she had made.

By 2006 this Diva-Prenure founded a Ballroom Dance training Company, Grace Corps Studio and by 2011 she had travelled around the world dancing in countries like Italy and Switzerland.  With over 20 years of dance experience, Nikki has treated a wide range of clients. Nikki who believes in the power of eyeliner and a pair of nude pumps has three fitness programs specially designed for women: The Belle Method, The Bump Method and the Pink Method. The Belle Method combines the core technique of Pilates, the intensity of bootcamp and the zen of yoga. Belle is about feeling strong and beautiful inside and out.

At the 2013 DivaGirl Conference Nikki's seminar will be How To Be a Belle: 5 Steps to Conquering your Fitness Goals. This seminar is inspired and equipped with practical tools to help participants feel strong and beautiful inside and out.

#DivaFriday at Allure Body Bar!

The DivaGirl Team received the royal treatment from Master Waxer Alaa of Allure Body Bar for our first ever #DivaFriday, wahhhooo! I'll admit us Divas were a little weary of a night out involving bearing it all to wax our goodies - especially the Brazillian waxing virgins ahem, Ashley! haha However the Allure Team totally made us feel so at home, comfortable, and pampered we couldn't help but feel like little princesses! (all that was missing was the glass slipper) 

Nom, nom, nom.

Actually though we entered an intimate space with a pro photographer for the night, wine and appys! The road to win a Divas heart is wine, shrimp, and a comforting beauty session! Oh and crazy daisies obviously! Allure Body Bar knows what's up and the taking off the pants party hasn't even started! (clearly you want to keep reading for this one)

Ou, la, la! 

Ladies, if you've experienced any type of waxing you know how unpleasant and painful it can be - I'm convinced the every three-four week visit is a gradual build up of pain tolerance leading up to childbirth! Ahhhh! It seriously pays to put yourself in the hands of pros - Alaa holds the record of an 8-minute wax session and over 8 years of experience! Yup you read that right, 8-minutes! Hallelujah how amazing it feels to finish that quickly! AH, we're fresh as a crazy daisy and the Love Fresh Lavender Body Butter hit just the right therapeutic sensation to make a girl feel so darn content!

 Okay enough about us and more about Allure! They're a body bar that prides themselves in caring about you, keeping it fun and relaxing, and made with your comfort in mind! Boy do they do this with shining stars! Alaa and staff were too sweet, packed full of down there care tips, and how to's! We learned more about vajays in one sitting than I could have imagined - to think we're all Divas! ;) Above their exceptional service and experience they have wicked pricing and daily specials - MASSAGES FOR $70, HELLO! If you'd like to decorate yourself for the holiday season they also Vajazzle Dazzle, yeow!

High Society: Dangerous Dames and Wicked Little Girls!

If you haven't heard of High Society Cabaret well darling get ready to be WOWED! DivaGirl Entertainment and The Chic-A-Boom Room welcome an exclusive monthly cabaret show in a downtown Toronto venue, created by the fabulous, eloquent, and always dainty DivaGirl Anna Jaeger. 

This "boutique" style show was tailor made to entertain a smaller scale audience so the people watching can get an up close glimpse of all the cute nuances and offering the highest amount of interaction, intimacy, and becoming a part of the show itself, rawr.  

This show is "burlesque light" done right. The women involved (though always changing per show to keep it fresh) exude the same on stage confidence - "I'm sexy and I know it!" YEEEEA! They're hot, sexy, fun, seductive and comedic to keep you guessing, always wearing the most glamorous costuming that sparkle and shine just like the diamonds in the ruff they are, hello! I also just summed up the perfect woman for all you men reading - a little of this, a little of that, always classy and fabulous never to be mistaken for anything less than the ones you wine and dine, thank you! (I know you've read about how to woo in Esquire!) 

"Dangerous Dames and Wicked Little Girls" had the close nit crowd cheering, hollering, and anticipating what exactly the girls had in store for us next. I was also really curious as to where Aidan's clothes went? I mean if anyone can pull off paper bag princess girl it's you...

The show kicked off with the girls doing a number all together, then the solo shining moments took flight from there. 

Portia took a different route than the other three and moved to a slower, painful song, Lana Del Ray's "Born To Die."  She really embodied what the song represents - heartfelt agony on a long road of deep love. She allowed you to feel the pain and struggle with her hard hits at the right moments being completely in sync with the words which was fabulous to watch. LOVED the red flower hair decor too, so chic! 

 
I'd now like to take a moment to give Deona a "Dayyyyam girl!" Holy amazing!  Walking on stage like she just don't care, bottle of liquor in hand as a very naughty nurse (pretty sure she'd be kicked off the job for that one) and just killing it, sexy styles! If you could imagine what a Christina Aguilera in "Dirrty" mixed in with an Amy Winehouse performance would look like, that would be what Deona brought to the table, amazing! It was so damn sexy that the red hanky she's sporting to your left got picked up by a very lucky man who just wanted a little souvenir of the night - can you blame him?

A big part of what makes High Society so special and very different is not only our amazingly stunning, talented, and fresh dancers but the ability the show has to also be a comedic relief, taking you into the fun era of the 40s-50s. The show's candid moments, ad libs, and funny quirks kept a great balance between the beauty of seemingly raw, unedited, and natural dancing. Aidan and Anna are the perfect comedy duo - just like a modern day Lucille Ball and Vivian Vance. Aidan is loud, expressive, and hilarious without having to say a  word at all - the camera loves her! Anna is  your proper "good girl" that should never be left unattended - she's a sneaky one and this will happen to your man if you do... ahaha

This was the perfect show to kick off the Halloween season and I know I left feeling more Dangerous and Wicked than ever hunny, meow! 

If you haven't already scoured the internet to get tickets to our next show "Santa Baby" then really what are you waiting for? I assure you this production is going to soar and you won't find a thing like it in the city! Get them before they're gone right here! We have three show to entertain you all throughout the holiday season - I know we rule! First one kicks off November 29th!
