Divas in the City 3 - Toronto's Forum for Female Fabulousness

Our fabulous "Divas in the City 3" event rocked for the third year in a row! Divas In The City is the brainchild of the amazing Laura Furtado (DivaGirl Inc.) and Nikki Bergen (creator of The Belle Method) who wanted to create an event as yet another form of women helping women. Divas In The City inspires, sisters to overcome their fears, follow their dreams and of course team up with others who are on the high road! These two are a fantastic example of just how amazing teaming up with another fellow sister really is.

Held at the gorgeous Crown Lounge, an amazing group of women gathered ready to be inspired, uplifted, and connected with other fabulous females - mission accomplished and the night had hardly begun!


The night kicked off with networking and shopping from the array of amazing vendors at our event. We had a vendor to cater to every woman's desire - dance, fitness, jewellery and accessories, beauty, fashion, skincare, bridal photography and the list goes on and on! Of course we can't forget about your sweet tooth!  We were happy to have such a unique group that provided such a wide range of hot items! 

Next the night introduced our seven expert entrepreneurs in categories that are essential to the urban woman's lifestyle. Like our vendors, the expert panel brought advice and tips of the trade in areas that are important and desirable  for women - nutrition, career, beauty, relationships, finance, fashion, and fitness. Our expert pannel included Angela McNally of Eating Pretty, Katia Millar of Positive Fabulous Women, Wendy Crystal of Inspired Cosmetics, Kimberly Moffit of Kimberly Moffit & Associates, Florence (Flo) Grunfelder of Money with Flo, Hannah Yakobi of FAJO Magazine and lastly Sandra O' Brian of Bootcamp Goddess.

As you can tell from the above photos we had quite the lineup of intelligent, successful, and fabulous women. Our guests couldn't get enough of these ladies insight on their given subject and lots of open questions, comments, and discussions came about. I know I learned a thing or two and definitely walked away with advice and ideas to start putting to great use for all those dreams casting away - actually I see them now floating on a sailboat...okay I'm back! 


Really, I think the we picked from the most colourful flower patch with such a fantastic lineup of speakers. Each one brought a unique set of tips and put together created a giant well of everything any women would need to know in order to become and stay happy, positive, and successful. I mean really what's better? I guess chocolate would be... yes we had that covered too! 


The night ended with a flurry of uplifted ladies scurrying around chatting, shopping, and engaging with everyone in the room. It was fantastic to see strangers come together and by an environment of positive energy created by Laura and Nikki left friends and quite happy. Keep an eye out for Divas In The City 4 - it just keeps getting better and better!
